  We stop always, always, always at this Chez Ashton location while passing on the way to the Maritimes and on the way home to Ontario. Chez Ashton never disappoints. My teenaged sons love it too. The Dulton avec saucisses (fries, gravy, tourtière-style meat, cheese curds and grilled sausages) is outstanding. The food will never earn the Surgeon General's seal of approval, but the part of your brain that regulates decision-making seems to malfunction at the same time you take the first few bites. The food really does taste that good. I wouldn't eat it every day, because doing so would considerably shorten life expectancy, but Chez Ashton is a perfect treat on the rare occasions we travel to Quebec City or beyond. Juste du frais! Juste du vrai!

  Fast service, friendly staff, decent amount of food for the price, etc. Close to the highway for maximum face-filling exposure!
